This was really just an exercise to see if I could actually get an image small enough to load. The top looks better now with the front rail in place and after the second shrinking. Much happier with this than the metal hardtop I had.

There is nothing like the smell of new canvas. My wife disagrees with that after having to ride home from the Kansas Nationals, with our new M37 canvas in a small rental car.

The top was $395 from MWM. Here is a pic from this morning. It is fully mounted (got the new retainer for the windshield top installed) and has been force shrunk twice. I'll let the rest of the shrinkage happen naturally.

With the exception of the top, every bit of cloth anything on the truck came from my garage. And soon, a Marine Corps 'Jeep style' summer top will be made and fitted. There is quite a bit of upholstered stuff on my truck, but it all looks like it should be there. Tool rolls, document bags, water buckets, lever covers, winch covers, tire iron bags, windscreen cover etc. Gives me a little something to do with my sewing machine.

Mount the top.
Spray outside with hot (ish) water on a 90°F day and let it air dry.
then put a tarp from under windshield frame and cover the seats and dash. Spray entire underside of canvas on hot day and let it air dry.
That is all it took and it is a nice tight fit.

Travis. I received it a few years ago with one of my orders from Mona at New Life Canvas.
