Window cranks

Post by Mac »

What do I have to do to replace the window crank handles? My driverside crank had the metal part fall off and was replaced with a screw and bit of plastic.

Also, if anyone has a spare, please let me know! Mine is a 51 if they changed later...

Window Cranks

There is an escutcheon behind the crank handle(door handle is the same), it should have a spring loaded inverted cup on it, compress the cup, insert steel pin, allow cup to expand, BAM, your finished. If your missing the correct pieces, John @ Midwest has them, AB Linn too, all of the usual suspects have them, or maybe someone here on the Forum will come to your rescue?
I Might have a picture somewhere also?
Good Luck,
