MY SPARE ENGINE
Making room to start on my cab tub I disassembled my spare engine Friday night to get it off the floor and on the stand. Half the valves were stuck open and there was a ton of grey "gelatinous" (I always wanted to use that word in a sentence ever since seeing "The Blob") sludge in the pan as if she never saw an oil change from break in? Anyway, after I cleaned the pistons I found that each had "252" stamped in the top in 1/2" tall numbers. Each piston was numbered one through six as well in the same large font. Is this OEM or somebodies handywork?
