Hi Guys,
I've been looking around and it seems most folks who install sleeves in wheel cylinders use a stainless sleeve. But I found one guy who only uses brass sleeves. I wouldn't think a brass sleeve would last very long. Has anyone ever heard of using a brass sleeve for wheel cylinders?
thanks,
bob

Re: Wheel Cylinder Sleeving Question
I used brass sleeves from White Post Restorations in VA on my 1957 MGA. Worked like a champ and lasted for years. That car was my daily driver for 5 years, no problems whatsoever.

Hi Guys,
So what are the advantages/disadvantages of each material? Why doesn't everyone just use stainless?
thanks,
bob
