Was the M37 used in the Korean War?

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

I picked up a multi-DVD set on the Korean War hoping to see some good video of M37s in action. I'm about half way thru the discs and I haven't seen an M37 yet. Lots of Dodge WCs and Jeeps....but no M37's. So did the Army hold them in the States for a few years to shake out the bugs............or were some actually used in the conflict? I'm sure they were sent there later, but were they used in combat from 1950 to 53?

thanks,
bob

shortly after I got my truck, it was parked outside one day when I saw a car drive by very slowly and then stop. An older guy wearing a camo army cap walked up to me and said the last time he saw one of those (my) trucks was when he was being transported off the front line in one in Korea with an injury.
