Rather than keep going of the intended discussion in another topic, I thought I'd start this one here.
Today, while in town to pick up some stuff for my dock and fuel for my tractor, I passed a Shell station that has prices posted for reg 87 Oct gas and diesel.
Last week in a not to far away town, I bought gas at Costco for $1.14.9 a litre. The Shell I passed today in Nanaimo B.C. was $1.23.9 for reg gas and $1.39.9 for diesel I did get marked diesel at the Co-op for $1.24.9 just a mile and half away.
With the price of crude down, I think somebody's gouging, taxes not withstanding, Whats happening where you are?
Gas prices in Decatur and across Illinois shot up Monday afternoon, going from a six-year low of $2.71 a gallon then prices inside Decatur shot up more than 40 cents a gallon. On Tuesday, many stations were near $3.15.
This week Gas finally dropped to $2.99 a gallon and Diesel dropped to $3.74 a gallon. (S.E. WI)
Last weekend we went up North to about the middle of the state and Gas was $2.98 a gallon and Diesel was $3.54 a gallon. I fueled up with $130 worth of Diesel prior to driving north. I just can't win.

Thank god for Costco - as gas at their station is $1.109 per liter here in the center of BC. Diesel is at $1.439 per liter... Every other station is at $1.159 except for Esso, which has been 5-10 cents higher for some reason than everyone else since Costco's gas station opened over a year ago...
