More Pictures--It's a small world...

Post by Cal_Gary »

Hello All,
Just back from vacation: Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Jackson Hole, Cody, RVing across the mountain West. Great scenery and great weather, especially the scenery in Jackson Hole! We were going to find dinner at one of the local restaurants when I spy, two car lengths behind me, a rolling M37! Of course I have to slow down to allow it to catch up! Lo and behold, I'm flagging the guy down, yelling across my passenger side window, saying "I have one of those"! So I then wave the guy over and once stopped, he says "Are you GARY by any chance?" I say "yes I am" and he introduces himself as Don, our forum mate M60TC! We exchanged pleasantries and talked trucks for 20 minutes or so and had a great time-sure was great meeting you Don and checking out your truck-not very often do I meet any forum members on the road or at home-this chance encounter was one of the highlights of our trip!
Thanks!
Gary

Thanks guys,
Yeah Carter, I have some of Don, his truck, and me; also a couple of the Rubicon's maiden mud voyage up Pryor Mountain-lots and lots of mud along with steep terrain. I needed the 4 wheel drive but never got to the point of engaging the lockers as it floated through the mud pretty well. I'll get the pix out in a day or two.

Hi Carter,
I think Don told me it's a '53-he doesn't log on much but views the forum regularly.

Gary,

It was Storm that threw down the challenge gauntlet, not I.

I keep pushing for pictures because we all know that everyone here loves to see new pictures. Plus, I want to know who to watch for in Topeka Kansas while I'm at the MVPA convention.

Great picture by the way!
