I remeber reading about hooking up a temp. tank. How is this done and can you use gravity to bypass fuel pump?
Thanks,

I plan to let my fuel pump suck out of a 5 gallon boat gas can on the floor via a rigged fuel line for my test run. As for using a gravity feed, I think some folks have done that and there was a recent post regarding a mower tank? I need to test my pump rebuild so I am going this route. I have seen guys also run a fuel line right into their fender mount can.

I have a small mower tank wired to the radiator support. The pump draws from that. It works great and I don't have to put much gas in to just back the truck in and out of the garage.

That's what I do. Convenient and easy to rig up and remove and fill and all that kind of stuff.refit1701 wrote:I have a small mower tank wired to the radiator support. The pump draws from that. It works great and I don't have to put much gas in to just back the truck in and out of the garage.
