Dave,

Prices vary all over the place. I've had people give me doors at meets because they don't want to drag them home.......while I've seen others with a $150 price tag on them (they didn't sell). The important thing to check is the condition of the doors on the lower inside, as they rust from the inside out and were not fully painted inside when new. Driver's doors go for more than passenger doors......not sure why that is....but it is. If they're in good rust-free condition I'd say $100 each is high compared to what people paid a few years ago.........but not outrageous now-a-days.

regards,
bob

PS Although tempting.......fixing rusty doors is certainly possible..........but very time consuming. You'll also need access to metal bending tools and the correct gauge sheet metal. Certainly worth a try if you're ambitious and have time on your hands.........otherwise, look for another door.

I agree with Bob, above, but would add the additional caution that if you find better condition doors to replace yours, PLEASE DO NOT SCRAP your old doors. You may not foresee a use for them, but odds are at some point down the road they will have a piece or section someone else will need or can use. Please give them away to someone if you can't sell them, but please don't scrap them. They are slowly, but surely, becoming harder to find.

Memphis Equipment did have NOS Passenger doors, with guts, but w/o glass for 150 bucks, sure they are more now. I also bought a t/o driver, good to excellent from VPW for 250 bucks.
(both in 2009 money) so one hundred doesn't sound to bad?

Shipping is the killer. I have a number of fair to poor doors and have been looking for rust free, better doors but they would all cost as much to ship as the repairs of the other ones. Drivers doors have mostly been abused and in the wet west coast, the bottoms are also rusted out. I'd go for them if they were closer to me... Your other options are in the dry desert areas in Arizona or California if you travel there and can save freight that way.

Complete doors with unbroken glass & all hardware go for ~$150/each these days...
