I'M RETIREING

Post by lten1063 »

I'm retireing on the 27th of June 2014. After 40 years of government service both mitilitary and civilian service combined. It's time to do what I want (wife dectates) and no worries on time limits. Someone ask me are you going to get a part time job and said no! I all ready got one and its called Honey Do's. Whats the first thing I'm going to do is to kill the alarm clock. If I survie the first 90 days of probation in my new career field of Retirement then I'm good to go.

What happens if you don't make your probation? You won't be allowed to do the "Honey Dos" ?

10-4 on that and that means get out of my hair and get a job or something like that. Heck I may take in some fishing & hunting for another HMV.

Joe:
I've been retired for almost five years now. People always ask me what I do with all my spare time.
The truth is that when I was working I always had at least a half dozen jobs or chores that I HAD to
do each week and rarely completed all of them.
Now the list has grown to 20 or 25 projects that I have to complete each week. Of course I never
complete them all and I never stop moving all day long. Call me anytime after 5am and I'll answer
from the shop. Just not enough hours in the day. I never get bored working on the restoration of
my M37.
