Muffler pipe support brackets

Have people had luck with old NOS muffler pipe supports, or does the flexible part break too easily from age?

rivets can be drilled and the rubber can always get changed out for a bit of side wall.

Just need to check them regularly, as once they break, if you're not paying attention, the exhaust manifold will crack from the stress/weight of the exhaust. That's why the manifolds command high prices....

My NOS mounts were in great shape. You just have to inspect, as the others said. But that goes for everything on these trucks.

Good info, never thought of this! Previous owner replaced them with generic mounts...
