need shifter for m37b1 trans

i need a shifter for my m37b1 transmission. my 1954 m37 shifter wont fit my nos m37b1 trans. the bolt needs to be in front not the back. thanks dave

Dave,

Please see the Tech section for the reply to the shifter handle question. The shifter stub is installed backwards in your NOS B1 trans.

im going to install the part in the trans the right way. the guys puting it together must of been on drugs. thanks for all the help. dave

fixed the trans today, everything is good. they just put it in backwards. dave
