It was $2,250 when I saw it. Leastwize that's what I thought. I guess times have changed.

Always strikes me a bit odd how people who want the big bucks for things put up the ads with the least information........and can't even get what they do put in the ad right.
Really inspires confidence in the seller and the item being sold.
A '51 Jeep? - Really? I guess that would be news to Jeep
"completely stored" - guess that means the truck wasn't longer than the garage and the back of the bed didn't hang out in the elements
only two pics - why would anyone need to see more when spending $22K on on old Army truck?
weird color - maybe it's just the lighting, but then again, maybe it's just me.
Not to be all negative..........it DOES look like a nice truck. Really.

Not sure I understand your comment. Military JEEPS of that era didn't have doors.
I also like the way the paint perfectly matches the canvas. Nice touch.

Maybe he was going with the DESERT sceam. $22.5K is a bit much unless it has papers on it from the factory to DRMO to the previouse owner and served in a great historical battle with a famouse Soldier, Sailor, Marine or Airman service member. With a good paint job you can make anything look good.
