Re: TURNING BRAKE DRUMS...
I can't wait to see how the over sized brake linings work out in regards to adjustments.

Re: TURNING BRAKE DRUMS...
Gary,
I did read my PM about the sizes, that's why I'm patiently waiting for the next step in this project.

Re: TURNING BRAKE DRUMS...
Well we're getting there Bert-I don't mind being the pace setter on this task-I've followed a number of posts over the years that have been a tremendous help.
I figure that if I've measured everything correctly, once I install these I should have plenty of room to adjust them out as they wear and won't have to do this job again.
Since I keep a journal on all the M37 work, parts, etc., eventually I'll hand everything off to the next owner who will have all the details as needed.

PICTURES!! Got the oversized brake shoes...
Thanks to Charles at M-Series for the special order! Now I need to prep for the install, meaning find the time and a day with temps above freezing so I can get them installed and adjusted.
More to follow,

Re: PICTURES!! Got the oversized brake shoes...
Hi Gary,
Now that I see the pictures of the brake linings, I understand why you needed to trim them. Thanks for posting them. Please keep us posted on how the adjustment process goes with the new shoes.
