new harness
just put my new harness in all good except for the dim blackout lights and marker lights there is juice to them but they are very dim why is tis happening ,is it a weak ground,dont have the rear lights hooked up yet would that make a difference??

Hi macibell,
You posted a while back about converting to a 12V system. Is that what you're talking about here? If so....did you change all the 24V bulbs to 12V bulbs?

yes that's me .evey bulb was changed to 12 volt,when I put them on a separate 12 volt power supply.they work fine.thought maybe a bad ground,one of my headlights was dim until I attached the ground it got brighter..thats why I thinks maybe the ground

If they got brighter with the ground you need to go and clean all of your grounding strap locations and make sure the battery terminals are nice and clean too.
That being said, switch to relays and you'll be so much happier and so will your wiring....

Hi macibell,
Should be pretty easy to troubleshoot. Measure the voltage at each light, first with the grounds you have, then measure with respect to a known good ground, such as where the battery grounds to the frame.....or from the (-) terminal on the battery itself. Should tell you everything you need to know.

I will try that, thanks for the info guys much appreciated,will let u know soon,got sidetracked with taking off the bed.
