Here is a thread on my 1954 M-37 that I saved from getting parted out.
I could not see it get broken up as it was missing a few things and not in running condition. So I have it now and will be pulling the old engine and installing a engine I have in my barn that was a take out for a diesel conversion.

Yes it was a former forrestry truck. VT had a lot of them over the years. Many would end up at FD's at every small town also. Now a good portion of them have been released and out in the world.

The engine in this one has been picked apart to keep another truck going but I have a 2nd T245 that will go in this for now................The eventual plan will be to "repower" with a "incountry" twist to create a truck that ran the roads of Vietnam for a short time.
