I've started saving pics I find of M37s with their original military paint jobs. The reason being I want to have references for things like the star locations, hood lettering size, font and placement, bumper letters/numbers, tailgate letter numbers, tire pressure stencils, etc, etc, etc. I know people have written about what's "correct" for these things in books, and there are military manuals that state how they should be applied......but there's nothing like seeing the real deal. I realize M's may have been painted more than once while in service, and locations for things may have changed during the years....but I still want to archive what I can. As people keep restoring these trucks finding ones with original paint will become difficult, if not impossible.
I've searched Google and Bing and got some pics, but not as many as I thought I would. I started going thru the gallery but man, there's a lot of pics in there. So here's what I'm asking.....if you posted gallery pics of your truck when it had original paint......can you tell me your gallery name so I can look at those pics? And if you have a truck that currently has it's original paint can you post some or send them to my email (w30bob@verizon.net) ? I'll share whatever I have with anyone who's interested.

thanks,
bob
