I joined all 3 as a newbie. After 6 months, this site offers the best most focused M37 vehicle support IMO. As you can tell from my posts, I reply on this site now and the guys gathered here to give me unvarnished opinions and expertise. I stopped posting on SS because I didn't need some guy who owns a crane truck giving opinion or telling me I got to post pics, etc. I stopped posting on PW because some of the guys are more interested in making a mudder than a M - hey and that's ok, its just not what I am trying to do with my son. I like others, go to SS/PW and poke around. The guys with more variety of vehicles I think cover the bases but this is what I'd call "home".

I'm a regular on the Steel Soldiers site, too. Lots of info to be had there. I visit both forums several times a day, actually. For purely M37 stuff, you can't beat this forum, but SS is the place to go for in-depth info on just about everything else. The one feature I'd really like to "steal" from the SS site is the chat room function.

I've been at Steel Soldiers for a year or two now. Like previously said, its a pretty neat place, but here is still the place for M37 stuff. If you got deuces, 5 tons, etc, SS is a good source of knowledge and opinions for the bigger guys.

That site started out as a deuce and larger truck site an has come to include all mil vehicles, however their main member interest is still the bigger trucks. There are the specialized sites for other vehicles, like here and the 715zone, g503, etc.

I hang out here for the M37 stuff and M29C weasel.org for the weasels, but Steel Soldiers really fills the function for the big rigs, from duece to 5 tons.
I run a M-135 duece and 5 - M-800 series 5 tons. Oh, don't forget the CCKW. Tom

I view that forum infrequently-too diverse for me. I open this forum almost daily-I like the cameraderie and support found here, and everyone I've met face to face from this forum are top-notch folks.

I've thought about getting into another bigger truck and I useually check out the rigs on the SS site to give myself a reality check. Those trucks are truly much larger than my sweet little M37. It's a fun site to look at for sure. :)
