Well... It’s finally done.
After a long year and a half, I think I finally made my *dream* come true just about ready for the road.
I just have to address some minor body panel issues, but she’s good-to-go!!
Here’s a short list of some of the things:
1. Using the stock T-249 engine (251 ci), I installed a 265 crank and connecting rods and bored it out to 272 ci.
2. Replaced the pistons with Sivolite 4538 (Continental) for a bit more compression.
3. Dual exhaust manifold I found on an agricultural combine.
4. Upped the ponies with a McCulloch VS57 supercharger.
5. Installed Unimog portal axles sporting 11.00 x 16 tires, and moved the axles fore and aft a wee bit for increased approach/departure angles.
6. Cropped the roof by 3 inches for that “low-rider” look.
7. Stretched the frame by 10 inches to fit the extra door.
Yeeuuup... I *think* I finally did it!

Before I got to the bottom of the message, I was thinking " Boy, the WWII purists are gonna scream over this one."

Here's another WOW! Would love to see a lot more pics of this one. Was the Mac blower & brackets originally designed for the Dodge 6 cyl or did you modify it to fit? I had one that was set up for the '57 t-bird many years ago.
