Anybody Heard From Carter ??

Hi Guys,

Anybody talked to Carter or Sandy recently? I sent him a PM asking how he's doing and didn't get a reply. I assume he's not able to sit at a computer, but I'm hoping he's healing well. If anyone has made contact let us know how he's doing.

Carter is understandably very sore indeed and has the usual problems of can't get comfortable, sleep etc but I am sure once he feels a bit better he'll surface again...

And I'm sure Sandy is busy doing all the things that need doing when you have a wounded spouse. Been there done that. Sometimes I think the well spouse suffers as much if not more.

Let's hope for the best for both of them.

I'm sure Sandy has better Carter related things to do than update us during this critical phase of Carters recovery.

I'm sure we will see updates when they are ready.

Sorry for the delay in answering this, have been having a tough time lately with post surgery pain in my right leg and back, much worse than before. Back has healed but only can sleep a couple of hours a night and am usually up around 14:00. Another doctor visit tomorrow to see what the pain management guy can do for me as I am now in pain all the time. I'll be monitoring our favorite site here but sitting while posting is not comfortable as everything hurts from my shoulders down to below my knees. I believed surgery would help me but it seems to have worked just the opposite of what I had in mind.

Wow....sorry to hear you're still in pain! Maybe your new parts just need a little break-in.
Keep us updated on your condition....but only when it's comfortable to do so. If you need anything just shout.

Well guys I went to the pain management Dr. yesterday and got a script for a med. that allowed me to sleep all night for the first time in a month. Was only getting 3-4 hrs. before. Feel much better today and have a appt. at the physical therapist at 16:00, need to get some strength back in my legs. Let me tell you boys and girls that major back surgery is no fun and leaves you feeling like a limp blob of skin and bones with your muscle tone all but gone.

The physical Therapist will make your drill seargeant look like a pussy but you will have your muscle tone back in short order, maybe even "buff" you up a bit
