No one is buying my m37. So I went back to working on it. I pulled the snow plow off, wire wheeled the 5 beadlocks, and going to paint them, changed out some moor seals, changed out 1 headlight. New used driver side dour latch. Ordered a black canvas top about 4 weeks ago I hope shows up soon. I also baught 5 new power king super traction tires that are getting mounted up tomorow. The tires were a good price at $1025 shiped to my door frome simpletire.com I will post up some pictures soon. (oh buy the way it is still for sale)

Weebee Webbing - I saw a couple black canvas tops online so I decided to order one. He said it would be a month or so before I get it, I am in no hurry just looking forward to putting it on. I drove the M37 down the road today, got it up to about 43mph with my new tires - they sure do ride niceand it drives doun the road good. I also put superwinch locking hubs and that helps a lot.
Here are some pictures, I still need to wax/buff the other half.

Re: tires
looks great! Keep it! just slap a winch on it and charge toyota owners for rescue missions.
question: how does the crankcase breathe without the oil fill tube breather line hooked up? If you want to keep that style of carb you could swap out the fill tube to a WW2 style that has a miniature oil bath airfilter built into it. you can get them NOS from vintage power wagons for cheap. or just run a line from fill tube to the air cleaner somehow. ?

Re: tires
I see he still has the vent tube on the right side of the engine along with the valve to let it breathe, while not ideal it would keep the crankcase from building positive pressure and cause leaks.
The truck looks good, nice tires and combat rims.

Re: tires
I got my top from WEE BEE in 2000, bought it at Ft. Lee National Conference, MVPA, they do nice work. I have a set of Combat Rims, need to catch some new rubber for them, so much to do! The truck looks nice, it'll sell, I'm sure!

Re: tires
It does breathe Thanks I will run a line from the fill tube to the air cleaner I do not wont leaks. I would like to find a oil bath that will fit that carb, the one that came from factory is bigger and fits the other carb. Drove it again today I sure like driving it . Need to get all the kinks worked out every thing is working better they do not like to sit for very long. If it sells I will buy another power wagon of some sort.

Re: tires
after working on the m37 you will likely not enjoy a civilian PW or ww2 dodge. yes the PW is a beautiful looking truck but if you ever found the 37 cab to be cramped or have bad vision you will hate a civi PW
my CND m37 with 4.89s a 251@8.5to1, lock out hubs and ndt's gets 14to17mpg and cruses nicely on the hwy @ 55 and can easily hit 70mph
keep the M37 you will not find a better truck.

Lucky man! I'm looking forward to the day (hopefully 4-5ish months from now when I can pull out the credit card and buy those tires!
Have them on a WM300 at work, love them
