seat belt mounting question

Post by Cav Trooper »

Does anyone have any pictures and suggestions on mount seat belts in an M37. I think the mounting bolts will need some reinforcement but I don't know how much or if there is one better area to bolt them to over just a random spot.

Thanks,

If you use seat belts with a shoulder strap or use a four point harness, be sure to mount
the upper part of the shoulder strap at least 4" inches above your shoulder height.
Anything lower than your shoulder height will drive your body down and forward
in a crash.
You might also "google" info on mounting seat belts and get more info from the experts.

CT,

So sorry......I totally forgot about your post. Out of sight....out of mind I guess. Here's the pics of how my seat belts were mounted. The first pic shows the driver side belts mouted to reinforced holes in the floor under the bottom seat cushion with bolts. The passenger seat belts were attached to the two bolts in the back wall of the cab where the bottom of the upper cushion attaches to (second pic). I hope this helps.

regards,
bob
