50 cal M2HB on M37

RVN and Gun Trucks. Sorry but most of this is lost on me. I did my tour 68-69 and only saw the following. MP jeeps with M60s and once saw a MP jeep with a 106 recoiless mounted down by Siagon. The only other GT I saw was a 2-1/2 ton with the bad boy quad 50, that was used for perimeter defense at Dau Teing base camp. All convoys in my AO were escorted by us with our M113s and those convoy drivers were told not to engage. If ambushed, and their truck wasn't hit, they put the petal to the floor while we stopped and engaged. Nothing worse than a driver thinking they were John Wayne and screwing up our field of fire. So where in Vietnam were these Gun Trucks used?
