I don't know how many pics I can upload in a single post, so here's a few I found the most interesting. Turned out to be a great time....weather was perfect, as were most of the vehicles. Beautiful country Upstate NY. There were no M37's there, as this was geared toward WWII. The reinactment was well done also. Enjoy!
Sure, no problem. There were a total of 3 halftracks there, the other two being personnel carriers. This one, with the 105mm, is from Long Island. I met him in the Spring at the Sussex MTA meet in New Jersey. It's definitely one nice half track. Enjoy!
Yeah, that was one bad half track. I don't know the model designation......but in my opinion it's the most impressive of the breed, with the quad 50 AA setup next in line. They seem pretty simple to restore, assuming you can find the parts. But the owners of most of the vehicles I saw at the reinactment, including this one, really go the extra mile to include all the accessories for each vehicle. And I would assume that with the rubber tracks you could actually drive a half track on the street.
