compression results

Post by Tuko »

So I tested compression on my truck today and here are the stellar results:

#1 110
#2 95
#3 95
#4 95
#5 105
#6 110

Im curious if anyone has had similar results and still drove their truck and it was somewhat reliable for the next few thousand miles? I have a feeling these less then great results are from when the fuel pump failed and thinned out the oil with gas.

Looks like it's time to find a engine rebuilder. Make sure to check out several before moving forward.

yeah if this motor is coming out, it wont be going back in! just looking to have some fun with it driving around locally etc before having it torn down for a drivetrain swap
