NOS Tailgate on Ebay $$$$$

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

Are you guys watching this auction? It's up to $590 bid (reserve not met) for a NOS M37 tailgate with about 8 hours to go. I had no idea an NOS tailgate was worth as much as some trucks! Nice tailgate though. Are there any other M parts that are worth as much as a tailgate??

regards,
bob

When I bought my truck, the fire dept had removed the tailgate. The prices for tailgates was so high that I decided to weld up my own tailgate and cover it with wood to match the side boards. I am not going for originality here

Most highly prized are the complete LU-4 winch set ups-cost up to $2K or more used. I can't think of anything higher in price other than a complete M37 (perhaps the communications shelter), but I pieced together my complete winch/PTO set up for around $1,ooo ....

My front fenders were NOS when I installed them. I had to take a shot to get rid of the shakes as I was about to drill two holes in the right one for the siren.
