Time for a Dumb Question

Post by Wayne64 »

I looked through the picture albums and saw the install both ways. Bed mounted spare tire, does it gets installed with the convex side pointed towards the rear. (Much like a mounted rim) Or concave side out. Finally got low humidity and shot the bed box.

Concave side out....meaning the spinner rests against the backside of the wheel center......according to the manuals I have.

I think if you put it so the tire looks normal you may not get it to bolt up. I think you have to put the front of tire towards the cab in order to bolt it up right.
