Re: Exhaust Manifold needed
I've never seen anyone have any luck with attempting to repair a cast exhaust manifold & have the repair last.
I've seen the cracks be pinned, brazed, etc., but nothing that worked long-term.
There should be some good ones floating around for sale, or VPW may have a reconditioned or NOS unit available.

Re: Exhaust Manifold needed
Chris,
John at Midwest Military (midwestmil.com) has them, both used and NOS. I bought a used one a few months back, think I paid $175. John inspects them and the cracked ones go in the trash. I sandblasted mine and it looks like new. No pitting or other issues. If that's too much $$ for you to spend you need to hit the swap meets.......I've seen them there cheaper, but you have to look close to make sure they're usable.
I've had cracked cast iron automotive exhaust manifolds (not M37) welded in the past, but the trick is to find a REALLY good welder. That's very hard to do these days. Otherwise you're throwing your money away trying to have them welded. There were a few used exhaust manifolds on Ebay a few weeks ago sold by XM708, see link below. You might want to drop him an email and see if he has any more.
