light switch harness

Does anyone know if the pins in the big receptacle that connects to the switch can be unloaded or do you just have to unsolder and resolder them in place if you want to change the end? Thanks.

TM 9-1825E covers the repair and replacement of that plug in great detail.

Usually the wires are soldered in the pins. Just de-solder and re-solder. If you find a crimped wire then cut it off flush and drill the core wire out and solder in the new.

Thanks Wes. I've got the cd and a box full of books, don't see it on the cd. Hopefully I have it in paper format :)

The TM 9-1825E is a very rare find anywhere. I looked for a long time and was fortunate enough to find one in Holland.
