A great weekend visit
David Cial, was in our neighborhood this past weekend picking up parts from Dan Pinkham for his M101. He spent Friday with us; we enjoyed some good conversation, a great all-the-way burger at lunch, and made a run to pick up from the powder coater in the afternoon; then an evening meal at Blue Bay Seafood. Came back by and attended church with us on Sunday morning, and we enjoyed a really good 3 egg ham and cheese omlet at Boondock's Grill afterwards with some other Church folks. I had a great weekend David, thanks for including a visit with us in your trip. Now I need to shed a few pounds.

Re: A great weekend visit
Yes, I did have a great visit. Always glad to spend time at your shop Charles. I learn something more about these Power Wagons every time. Thanks for your hospitality. I wish I lived closer. I also packed on a few pounds eating that great Carolina food, although I would not have it any other way. That breakfast was awesome. It felt just like home as we also usually go to breakfast after Sunday service
I got to spend some quality time in the passenger seat of Charles' orginal M37 flatbed with the diesel conversion. Ran like a Swiss watch.
It was nice to meet DAP. Thanks to Dan for his hospitality and for giving me a tour of the JAARS facility in Waxhaw. Quite an impressive operation. His workmanship on the bow & rack set was worth the drive. It was nice to see his two M37's.
Nothing like a good parts roadtrip. Everything fell into place. Other than a couple of mis-haps. One involved cracking my windshield while loading the racks. I had used my old one to test fit them in the jeep and found the perfect way to load up. So what do I do when i get there? I try it a different way and cracked my window...
I managed Saturday night to become trapped in the hotel elevator for about 25 minutes. This resulted in the hotel no charging my two night stay. The car went up to the 3rd floor and just stopped. Finally the manager used the fire over ride key to get me out. Never a dull moment
I will be picking up my frame for the M101from the blasters this week. Can't wait to get back on the trailer project.
