David, the same warm wishes back to you and all other forum members. I'm also thankful this season for the fact that we got to spend some in person time together recently. I think of you every time we go out to eat seafood, and the good time that we had both in and out of the shop. I truely wish I could spend some time with all so we could get to know each other in person instead of in print, really not having a clue about the real person reading that print, or vise versa with the person typing it. Also thankful David for the email conversation we share. When I see your name in the heading, I know it's a message from a friend.

The thing I'm most thankful for is that I'm blessed to understand where all real blessings come from. Thanksgiving and Christmas is indeed the most humbling time of the year for me.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, I haven't come here as much as I would like, seems like the site has slowed down since the days of Big Electric when I first got my M37.
Still some of the old guys here, -good.

A belated "Happy Thanksgiving" from Veronica and me! We spent the holiday in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where the lows were around zero degrees, and since we couldn't find any restaurant serving Thanksgiving dinner we ended up eating Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee stuff with potato chips-what a contrast but we loved getting away for a bit!

Gary,
Zero degrees? I did not think there was anywhere in the contenental US that cold yet? That dinner you had sounds great. Back in my rock and roll rebel days I lived on that canned Chef Boyardee and Ramen noodles. Fried hot dogs over ramen noodles was the bomb. It of course is the spirt of the holiday that matters most, if you can enjoy being thankful for a humble meal like that you are blessed. So many take good food for granted here in the States.

Charles, thanks for the kind words. Likewise. The next time we come down I am bringing a cooler and dry ice so I can take some of that fine fresh -caught Carolina seafood home. It is hard to find a good resturaunt seafood up here, even when I try to buy fresh at the market you never know just where it came from our how long it has been sitting around.

Bob, good to hear from an old forum member, keep in touch.

Yep-cold, it was 2 degrees when we pulled out at 4:30am Sunday morning with plenty of ice still covering some of the roads. I should consider getting my CCKW hard top in order in case it gets that cold here in the Salt Lake City area....
