Front fender welting?

Post by Wayne64 »

Does anyone have a good picture of installed welting. On the take down the welting that was installed only went up to the turn. Upon looking at the fender it appears that there is a rivet hole after the turn in towards the engine bay.
Thanks folks.

I'm kind of surprised Wayne that no one has chimed in on this one. I was also wondering about the same thing. My truck didn't have any on the fenders when I got her, so when it came the time to install them I didn't have any idea what to do when it came to the upper ends. My fenders didn't have any holes after the turn and I didn't want to cut the welts short, So I just followed the curve into the engine bay without securing the ends and I would come back to it later after I find out what to do with them.
