Hi Stu & Paul,
I will be there with my M37 this year. Saw the pic of the 4 37's in Classic MV mag lets hope we can make it 6 this year. I met a guy at Chatham military fair a few months ago he had his M37 there (fitted with a Perkins diesel) I think he's from the Hastings area. Didnt think of asking him if he was going thou.
Hope we can all meet up, I'll be there from Thursday 14th or Fri 15th, I'll keep my eyes open for you both. Feel free to ring me on 07808921005 anytime so we can meet up at the show.

Thanks once again Stu for the cargo bed timber measurements its really helping me put the finishing touches to my truck. I've got the bows & stake timbers sorted just need a couple more measurements to install the troop seats then get the stencilling done and hopefully it'll be ready for the Preston Steam & Military vehicle show (here in kent) on 25/25th June, my first outing in her!
regards, Andy

Hi Paul,
I saw your pics of bunker Bash but didnt go myself. That was quite a distance for you to travel...how long did it take?
I agree Stu's got a long trek ahead of him, I'd never undertake that far in an M37 on a standard flat 6!
but then I've only ever done a few of miles in mine anyway...so far!!

I also have a load of spares that came with my 37....in fact a 101 trailer full. What have you got? mines mainly heavy stuff..front axle, transfer case, diff, 3 Budd's with tyres, drivers seat, grill, shocks, drums and boxes of smaller bits I've not even looked at. Nothing appears to be new though.
I'm still deciding whether to take my trailer to Beltring..probably will but will have to unload it first...& store the parts somewhere.
My problem is finding somewhere to store both the 37 & the trailer...they're both outside on a mates farm at the moment but I dont want to leave them there for another winter! I bought one of those heavy duty caravan covers to protect it now it's been restored.
Anyway, looking forward to meeting all you fellow 37ers at War & Peace...dont forget to take my number with you and give me a bell on site.
Regards Andy

Hi Andy and Paul

I worked it out it would cost me around £700 to fuel the truck for the round trip so I have arranged a haulier to take my truck and my mate's Jeep for far less.
There are about 7 or 8 of us travelling down from Scotland.
I am flying down on Monday the 18th and leaving on the 24th so it should be a hoot!

My mobile is 07801 931498 if you wanna get in touch at the show.

See you soon

Stuart
