Re: Electric wiper motors
Are there any good wipers out there which will bolt right up without drilling holes? Individual control of each wiper would be fine. Self parking is preferred, and two speeds would be nice also. $500 is just too much for me to pay right now, especially since I try to avoid driving my truck in bad weather. If I treat it well it might be around in another 60 years.

I'm sure you will be able to find something that will bolt right up to the existing holes but you wont get the same wiper sweep that you get with mine.ZGjethro wrote:Are there any good wipers out there which will bolt right up without drilling holes? Stu, those things are huge! With todays strong magnets, motors have been getting smaller. Any photos of the ones Charles sells?
Re: Electric wiper motors
"Slope Head" made? Isn't that just a little on the "politically incorrect" side, Anthony? Surely you're not a bigot!

Hey Stu,
Do they interfere with you view/sight line, I had a pair and sold 'em? I'm almost 6' 3", they would not have worked for me, or Charles for that matter. Lifer is 6' 7"!

Yes, they do interfere a little but you soon get used to it.m-37Bruce wrote:Hey Stu,

Re: Electric wiper motors
Actually, my separation physical when I retired from the AF had me pegged at 6' 10". I'm still that tall when I can stand up straight (which is almost never these days).m-37Bruce wrote:Hey Stu,

Re: Electric wiper motors
Stu,
What is the rubber bumper in the middle of your hood for? I would think the saddles would hold the windshield up off the hood. Or is it one of those new dehydrated spare tires? Add water and it swells up to full size?
Thanks,
Tim
