Sometimes the elbow gets removed and the hole plugged; as the majority of owners have no clue why it is there. When the elbow is removed, it's barely noticable.

Reading the forum posts, I have seen the civilian battery for the M 37 is the 22nf. Does anyone know if these are deep cycle also?
Deep cycle batteries are for trolling motors. Stay with standard automotive style batteries designed to tolerate large and sudden loads.

I was under the impression that the 2hn was a deep cycley battery. That makes things easier.
