Saw a rain cap that bolts to the fording exhaust pipe extension listed on eBay, said m38/m37. I have never seen one on a M37 and wanted to ask the accuracy of the listing. Is this correct for an M37?
I use a basic tractor type too, I can't remember but I think it is 1.5"...Decided even if it wasn't original it was worth having, after every rain when I started my truck it would become covered in black droplets
From what I know about the Jeep crowd, it must be a key piece to have...but I like the tractor part price better. I also noticed on Whalen's M37, that he had a breather cap on his intake. Both would probably make sense for long term installation.
The breather cap is another tractor part. Absolutely essential for the grain farmer to have. Having your tractor inhaling grain dust and chaff during those many hours of harvesting could cause untold damage to its engine. It also serves to keep water (rain, snow, sleet) out of your air intake.
