I noticed some play in my steering wheel when I bought my truck and hoped it was just an adjustment. Turns out it's the sector/steering arm bushings that are shot. I see by the manual that I have to remove the steering wheel and take out the entire assembly. No problem with that but, where is the best place to find steering box parts if I need them. I can turn bushings out of amco bronze if I have to and turn the shaft if it's out of round and or scored. If the worm and sector are bad, then I will have to source them. Are there any vendors with those parts or can I buy a new steering assembly? Also, I notice that since I drove my truck last week, the passenger door glass has broken, don't know how but, it's cracked. The glass appears to be laminated safety glass. Other than being a PIA to remove, I presume it is just flat laminated glass that I can have cut at a local glass shop, correct??
Thanks,

Re: New questions
ALL FOUR PIECES OF GLASS IN THE M37 ARE FLAT. I GOT MINE FROM A LOCAL GLASS SHOP. SAFETY LAMINATED, AND IT WAS INEXPENSIVE AT THE TIME. TAKE ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS, BECAUSE IF YOU DO NOT, THEN REINSTALLATION WILL MAKE THE REMOVAL SEEM LIKE A BREEZE. GOOD LUCK

Re: New questions
Thanks, it looked like safety laminate. I've had the latch mechanism out of the driver's door to clean it up and lube. Looks like the door glass will be a little bigger chore. I've taken out and installed glass in old muscle cars but nothing that has quite as much rust on the interior bolts. I'm going to soak everything in penetrating oil first and try not to snap anything off.
