Good Afternoon ALL,
I have a few parts questions.
1. Where can I purchase the felt washers for my brake system. Is there a source? I know that I could buy felt and cut them out, but to be honest, I am a tad lazy.
2. I have a 251 CU IN engine, CDN Version, where may I find a parts source? If I cant find a parts source, can I install a 230 CU IN engine in its place? and will all the internals, i.e trans mate up to the 230? will a starter from a 230 fit in a 251, I have downloaded the PIF file from the Power wagon website, and it been a very big help so far.
3. Would like to mount 11X16's Michelin. Where can i find suitable rims to go tubeless?
I currently have 4 Super Kings tires mounted on the original rims, that have never been on the road. I would sell those with the tires and rims for a $1000.00 plus freight and or shipping.
thanks, Chris

Re: Parts Question
Stockton Wheel in California. Send them your centers, ask for Harley and then be prepared to wait 3-6 months. Approximately $250 perwheel. Looks almost like the original only tubeless rim

Re: Parts Question
I have a CDN vehicle with a 251 cu. in. engine. I suggest the following. First get all the US and Canadian manuals. Cross referencing part #'s will answer a lot of questions. The 251 block (and it's major internal components is the same whether or not it's US or CDN. Some of the accessories are the same as the 230 cu. in. engine. The distributor and oil pump are specific to the CDN version, as is the carb air tube to air cleaner. The rotor, points and condenser don't know or care what engine they are in. Carb, water pump, starter, generator are same as 230. Manifold is specific to CDN. The transmission and PTO only were built for Canadian vehicles. Vintage Power Wagon is fairly knowledgeable about parts. Brian Asbury in Ontario knows the most about the CDN models. If you asked less of a general question perhaps I could help you more. Just WHAT parts are you looking for?
