You can purchase the armored steel tubing in various lengths at any NAPA or CarQuest. A very simple fix to your issue.

Thanks for the CarQuest tip, I got my last set of sections from NAPA and I was just there today to order a couple more as I need to finnish a couple of lines. The NAPA guy said that there was not much left in the system, wonder if they are still making it and I should stock up??

I'll have to check, I've not heard of NAPA dropping it from their line, but they have dropped many items, so I would not be surprised. I know car quest has it as I have their catalog that has them listed up to 60" lengths.
