CARB ADJUSTMENT

Post by 8543bob »

Good morning all,
I think I asked this question before, but I cant find the answer: I installed my re-built engine about a week or so ago, added a stronger gas pedal retun spring to the linkage, I have a very low idle. She stays running but it is so low I'm afraid it is going to stall. I have looked thru the tech manuals for carb adjustment, but cant seem to put my finger on the idle speed adjusting screw. Any help would be appreciated.
THANKS BOB

Idle screw location pic. While not the correct screw, this is where it's located.

HI CARTER,
Thanks for the pic. I did the adjustment yesterday, she was idling at 450, suprised it ran, boosted it to 650.
Thanks again.
