Brake Shoe Pivot Felt Ring: Clean/Lube

Any suggestions for cleaning my old parts here? I don't think new ones are available (?).

New is best, of course, but you may be able to clean up your old ones and re-use them. It's not difficult.
1. Hand wash your old felts in warm water and dishwashing detergent (Dawn is great), gently squeezing out all the old oil and crud.
2. Allow them to air dry.
3. When completely dry, saturate them with clean SAE 30 motor oil just like you would a lawn mower air filter.

When you've got 'em all done, proceed with your brake job.
