Military Retiree Day-trouble...

Post by Cal_Gary »

As you may know, I was told there wasn't a space for my M37 for this event last Saturday, so I did not attend. Not only was there a small turn-out (with the US Open being over at Pebble Beach) and plenty of spaces available, some guy sliced open his arm somehow, and of course NOBODY HAD A FIRST AID KIT!!

Yes, I carry one at "home"- that is, in my M37. standing on end at the passenger side seat box, waiting to render first aid, but since I didn't attend, one of my peers who did attend advised that a paper towel and Scotch tape served as a bandage-just a fun weekend for all, I'm sure....

Get your kits now if you haven't done so-you never know when you might need it! Same goes for a fire extinguisher-mine tucks right behind my driver's door post, and I plan to add another to the passenger side.

I sympathized with your earlier post, having had a similar experience in days long gone by.

In this case, it sounds like it was a poorly planned and executed goat-rope! Someone forgot to follow the famous "Seven P" principle.

For you poor uninitiated types, that's "Proper Prior Planning Precludes Piss-Poor Performance." :twisted:

Gary;
I still think you should of crashed the party with your truck! Then you would have been the hero of the day.
