Hi could anybody tell me how many hp and ci has de original engine of the m37?
I have one m37 but without the original engine

the first M37s had a 230cid that made about 100hp at 3200rpm, that much I do know.
Some later models had a 251cid and I think made around 120hp?

All US versions of the M37 had the 230 cubic inch engine. The 251 cubic inch version was the standard engine for the Canadian models.

First off most of the CDN trucks stayed in canada not to many have made it down here, they were designed and built for the canadian army. They used a larger 251 six which is a bit longer then the 230 and its apparent when you look under the hood as the engine requires the rad to be mounted further foward, and the the data plates on the dash are different.

The stock US engine will have "T-245" stamped on the front driver's side of the head, too.

The US M-37 ( T-245) has a 230ci and is 94bhp @ 3200rpm and 188ftlbs torque @ 1200rpm.
The Canadian (CDN) M-37 ( T-249 ) had 251ci engine
