Bridging Plate

Post by M37UK »

Guys,

I'm not sure if it's been asked before and I cant find anything using the search but does anyone know where I can get hold of a bridge plate for the front of the truck?
The type that can be adjusted by inserting different numbers?

Cheers

www.midwestmil.com John is sure to have 'em!
Also George Maineri at Vermont Commercial Salvage, I'll need to lookaround for his contact info.
BTW, George has 'em on epay as auction items right now.

Good Luck,

There are no yellow plates available.
You will have to paint and replace the numbers.
You will only need 0, 3, 4, 5, and a C if you are pulling a trailer.
We have them at www.militarystencils.com

Nope, George and I split a container full of them.
So, take your choice.

Rick, is it the SUBDUED BRIDGE PLATE USED ON ALL M-SERIES VEHICLES that you are referring to?
How much would shipping cost UK ?

Stu,
The subdued bridge plate is used on all M series from the mid 60's on.
Yellow was used from the 50's to until the M880 and M35 came into being.
Shipping to the UK is (sit down now!) $36.10 via USPS Priority Mail.
I use PM only because I can track and its insured without charge.
We also sell a number replacement kit so you can paint the plate yellow and put on the numbers you need.
Its kind of ironic, we bought the plates in Europe and had them shipped here
and now I'm shipping them back!
