I'm getting ready to prime a whole bunch of parts after sandblasting, just wondering if the lower front bumper braces right where the tie down loops mount , are they supposed to be straight or have a slight bend downward. Looks like someone might have had a couple of tie downs too tight, at one time, to me. My '53 is the same way.

Mine have an angle as well, as do some I salvaged from another rig. I cannot find the picture of them in the parts book to see if the drwaing represents an angle

All of the original ones have the angle, however some reproduced will fits do not.
