Yep highway, if its not her family its mine, its rare we get to spend vacation time on our selves and not visiting someone somewhere.
As for the Burro-crats, if they want to get at my wallet they will have to get past my boot kicking them first.

If I see this right, you are in Wisconsin, right? Ask the wife if she would like a trip to the midwest? I know Kansas is hot in July (BOY DO I KNOW) but in early July you could take her on a road trip out this way. You could drop her off in an air conditioned motel and walk over to the world wide convention of the MVPA. Lots of M37s (and other neat stuff) to drool over. Or of course in June in Eastern Iowa is the Power Wagon Rally. Either of both are great to spend quality time with the wife, and not be bored to death.

I am like you, take me to a theme park, and I would prefer "do it yourself root canal without anesthetic and with a 1/2 in drill" to the theme park. Drop me in a salvage yard and I be happy for days. :D

Good suggestions.
She was going to send me to the VPW rally last year But I wont go unless I can drive my truck and its a little light in the engine compartment right now.
We got married April fools day 2000, that way I cant forget my anniversary. It really isn't a good time to travel but this time we decided to do something for 10 years, so were going to spend a week wondering the Smithsonian and a whole lot of other great places.
