Looks good, wonder if there will be a bunch of WW2 vehicles available in a little while?

Sadly, my wife would disagree with you, Yota. She hates all "war movies" but adores romantic musicals (yuck!). :(

War movies....

All women are like that! They'd rather watch reruns of "House Hunters" on the Home & Garden channel than watch a good war movie. Must suck to be a woman.

Nope not all women, just yesterday my wife recorded the original "Flight of the Pheonix" and watced it during lunch today. She loves planes and MV's too.

Yeah...there are a few "good" women like that around. I just didn't have the good fortune to marry one. My son-in-law did, though. ;)

Lifer,
I'm sure you married a good woman, she's just not "guy hobby friendly" good. My wife also loves horses, I don't share that passion with her but I support her and her two hayburners.

The book, "With the Old Breed" by E.B. Sledge is excellent. He is one of the characters in the movie. I read it while deployed, 30 other guys read it in C company, and they realized how much better off we had it then the fellows who island hopped through the Pacific.
Hopefully I can convince the wife to let me get HBO, I just won on the Military Channel, and History International...

Have to agree about the book......I've read my copy numerous times. They mentioned EB Sledge in the PBS series "The War"......I guess times sure were different back then
