tlrs819's Question Reposted.......

Post by Monkey Man »

"What is my truck worth? I think I'm gonna sell her"

OK, I have re-posted the topic minus all the unpleasant "stuff", I felt the subject of conversation had become sufficiently off topic and irrelavent to the purpose of the forum that I have killed the topic and have started it again as this Man deserves the answer he requested. Please treat tlrs819 and his Question with the respect He and it deserves......
If anyone has any problems with me deleting the origonal topic and it's ensuing replies feel free to complain to Robi via his E-Mail address provided on the site or to me directly.

Regards -MM :-)

I have too many toys and need to sell one to build the next. I hate to part with this truck, but I think I'm gonna. Hoping you guys can tell me what it's worth. 1954 M37, all original inside and out. Frame off resto a couple of years ago and has only been driven a couple times a year since, runs and drives excellent. Never had any rust before restoration. Truck is in northern Indiana.

I wanted to catch up on what transpired over the weekend. Oh well.

That still is one good looking truck!

It looks like it should be worth $10,000 to $12,000, BUT in todays economy you may be lucky to find somebody willing to pay $7500. After all they are just big boy toys.

Monkey Man, I certainly have no problem with you getting rid of all the negative stuff, I hated to even look at the thread after it went so far. I apologize to you and all here that my thread got so off topic and turned into a debate. I decided to keep the truck before I even got the first post here. I'm going to sell a different toy to make space for my new project to sit during the winter. I hope this thread might be helpful to anyone looking for the going rate on these trucks, I really didn't have a clue what to ask if I did advertise it. Thank you all for the information offered.
Have a great day, Tim.

Don't apologise Tim, you posted a fair and decent question, unfortunately, as with all forums things tend to digress on occassions and not always in a nice manner. I only hope the forum can offer you all the fun, friends and support it has provided me with.

Regards - MM :-)

Just read on the Power Wagon forum that Pete Ruffing is selling his M37. It's on the Orlando Craigslist or go to the Power Wagon forum and copy and paste his link. Another great truck for one of you east coast guys. Kurt
