There is one of these old Dodge cabover van trucks rotting quietly in a back yard, adjacent to the baseball field where my son plays little league. I see it every time I go to watch his games. I wouldn't mind inquiring as to what the owner is going to do with it. I always liked those old cabover van trucks. Its in pretty bad shape from what I can see though. Anyway, here is a site some of you might enjoy.

Actually, now that I have researched a little, I think the van may just be a Ford Econoline. I will have to take another look to be sure though. Either way, I still like them. I may try to track down the owner next time I am there.

Ford Econoline
Yeah, Its definitely a Ford. I dropped my son off at his game the other day and took a walk and by chance the owner was out in his yard. A brief talk and the guy let me check the thing out. It looked OK until I walked to the back. Rear left of the bed was completely gone, and the leaf spring of the rear left wheel was sticking up through. Tailgate and rear bumper were completely shot. Shame. The guy didn't seem as though he wanted to sell even though he let me look it over. Oh well, no harm no foul. Probably for the best anyway as I have enough projects on my plate at the moment.
