I'm finally getting around to do my brakes, and I've found a couple of brake shoe alignment clips that are broken. I assume that I need to replace them. I'm not worried about getting the rivets out, but can I use small nuts and bolts to replace them.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Brake shoe clips
You can use screws for replacement, no problem. We have many used fully built backing plates in great shape if you would rather replace the whole thing. We also have new clips I believe, but they are custom made. For the cost I would replace the whole backing plate assy.Brett wrote:I'm finally getting around to do my brakes, and I've found a couple of brake shoe alignment clips that are broken.
